On Tuesday night, the Hesed House Inferno homeless soccer team finished up their season in an Over 30 soccer league in Plainfield, Illinois.

Despite making great strides over the last several months, the team ended up with a disappointing record of 0-12 record.

Up next for the team is a possible out of town tournament against 3 other homeless soccer teams in April and then in late July, the USA Homeless World Cup team tourney in Washington, DC.

  1. Hey Scott, I doubt you remember me but I interviewed you via email like two years ago for a paper I was writing in an English class. Anyway, I just saw your Common Ground story on MediaStorm.org; Brian Storm was a speaker at Ball State University tonight. Good to see you are still doing great work, it inspires me to get better. Good luck shooting! – Sam Householder.
