usa faces off against europe
I have spent the last two days shooting practice rounds for The Solheim Cup, a biennial golf match play event pitting USA’s best women against Europe’s top females.
The good thing is the event is right down the road from my house in the far far western suburb of Sugar Grove.
The bad thing is that there haven’t been many compelling things to photograph.
Sure, there has been a lot of flag-waving and face tattoos and cheering crowds but nothing that I would consider blog-worthy.
The actual competition , which began this morning, is supposed to be pretty exciting with a lot more emotion than your normal golf tournament.
I won’t get to see for myself until Sunday when I shoot the final 12 matches of the three day event.
