are you ready for some football? part 2

After months of shooting baseball, it was a welcome relief to shoot a sport with some action.

Not that last night’s Bears/Browns’ game was sport at its best since the Bears starters, including Jay Cutler, who just handed the ball off 6 times, played only a couple minutes and the Browns didn’t even employ their 1st or 2nd string quarterback.

On the game’s first offensive play, Bears’ cornerback Zackary Bowman lunged in front of Browns’ Brian Robiskie for an interception. It is always a good thing when a significant play happens right in front of you early in the game.

After that, it was a lot of guys fighting for their NFL lives.

Next weekend it starts for real as I will be up at Lambeau as the Bears open the season at Green Bay on Sunday night football.
