hawks win by a nose

Usually early season pro sports games are boring.

The do or die mentality of the late season and playoffs isn’t there and the players are just starting to get adjusted to real games.

Well, apparently the Chicago Blackhawks don’t subscribe to that plan.

Last Saturday, the Hawks defeated Colorado in a 9-round shootout and then last night, they spotted Calgary a 5-0 1st period lead before storming back to win 6-5 in overtime. The comeback tied an NHL record.

One of the wonderful things about the young and exciting Blackhawks is they have energy plus.

The man leading the effort guys is Dustin Byfuglien. No it’s not “Bye- FOO- glee- in”. It’s “BUHF-lihn”.

Buff is always in the middle of the action and sometimes he arrives face first.
